Okay, I would really like to change my hair style, but I don't really won't to cut it that

Does anybody have any ideas, or any websites that I can visit, for a not-to-extremely-wild Girl's punk cut, that is still pretty? Also, products for this style. Thanx!

maybe you should just update you look by getting some layers or side-bangs and you can use some manic panic style products to get the effect you want

I had the same problem when I was young. I wanted new wave (that's what we called it back then) hair to go with my clothes, but I didn't want to cut all my long hair off.

Get a very blunt-one length, no layers-haircut and die it purple. Indigo purple, not lavender or violet. Or, die it blue if you have light complexion/blonde hair. If your hair is around shoulder length or shorter, get bangs. If your hair is long, don't get bangs.

This hairstyle will accomodate all your punk, grunge, goth, etc outfits. Think 5th element but purple and longer. Or Aeon flux (but longer), if you can find a hairstylist skilled enough to cut the front angles.

Ok first, is there a celebraty that you like (probably) just print the picture and bring it to your hair dresser and she cut it for you. I would saw tp put a side bang and some layers.

i guess young people these days are going for the emo hair look. It's just a bunch of long layers, and point cuts at the bottom. Some go to the extreme and comb their hair forward, so they have long shaggy bangs.

No, a buzz cut would not be your most complimentary style. At your height and weight you need a little fullness around your face. Talk to your stylist about a flattering cut that will create a fuller, softer look to your face.

I think it all depends on your 'style'. Buzz cuts don't suit all people and neither does 3 inch long hair. My brother just had his 3 inch hair cut off and it's made him look younger - which isn't a good thing. It just all depends on your face and style. Ask your friends opinion :)

whatever you want. Im 16 5'11'' and i have a buzz cut. It is what i like, because it is very low maintenance i dont have to worry about combing it in the morning. The way i see it is that if people dont like it that is there problem. I like it so i am sticking with it. I use a #1 guard on a shaver. So it pretty much is what you like. Just remember if you dont like it, it WILL GROW BACK.

I have qute thick just past shoulder length hair which have layers which the shortest is at the cheakbone. Im trying to grow my layers out for my wedding in August but in the meantime i want to have my hair cut into another style. I want to keep my length as im growing it for the wedding. Any ideas on styles please? as whilst my layers are growing out my hair looks horrible.

The only way to grow out layers is to get your hair cut . You need to cut more off of you length than in your layers each time, so that the two meet. If you don't want to take a lot off each time, just take 1/2 inch off your length, and 1/4 inch off of your layers every 6 weeks. Many think to just not cut the layers at all. Your layers will become split and will look horrible and cosequently won't grow out as the hair is splitting and breaking up the hair shaft. I usually use the above method, and texturize the layers that are growing out to give them a softer look as they grow out. I hope this helps. I am an experience NYC hairstylist, and this is the only way to get rid of layers.

Hello there.. I'm a hairdresser/salon owner.. best bet is to go for a bob shape.. keep getting the ends cut off every 6 weeks but tell them to leave the layers and try to incorporate the growing layers into the main length.. try not to get the layering trimmed as it will slow down the desired result..

I already straighten and tease it everyday. I use a LOT of hairs spray. I've currently got medium length hair ( drops down to my collar bone ) The kind of style i'm now going for is Long strips of hair underneath and choppy on top, but usually my hair stylist cant understand what i'm trying to explain to her what i want. SO all i'm asking for are some good, scene pictures. I've been searching for days and havent found anything really. so please help !?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol um...try a wax, and spike some lol like or make the wet look on some, and do some secksy (sound it out :-p ) chunks of color but it sounds cool already, hmmmmmm

It can't be too 'outrageous' or involve dyes or anything. I have blondey/brownish hair, just past shoulder length. It's naturally wavy, so it needs to be a style that can look okayish left natural. then you're going to need to straigten, tease, and hair spray it everyday.

plus you're going to need extensions for something like this. if you would want that look you could get extensions that are a different color then your natural hair.

something like blonde or pink. or black maybe. you can also do coontails to the extensions which can be done by putting tape on the extension on then dying the places that are not covered by tape.

you could always get it just a tad bit shorter, maybe collarbone length, and add some layers. as for the bangs, id suggest curtain bangs! there so awesome looking, and there scene. there like..layered side bangs basically, and look really cute parted to either the left or right [cute in the middle too, i guess.] you might wanna straighten it a bit, but that only takes a few minutes, and even if it gets winded, itll have a little wave and be cute =]
