Depends on your new style. A barber shop or salon usually has hair cut charts, you can fit it to match your clothes and personality. My son usually gets a ceaser hair cut. He's so adorable with it. you may need to get a hair wax depending on your hair type (designing mold) ...ok...put gel in your hair and blow dry. comb out 1 inch strand and wrap around the iron...hold for 10 sec and unravel the hair from the iron...not pulling the curl out. spray with hair spray...do the same thing with all of your hair. use hair spray.

Well if you are not good with a curling iron there are other options. You can scrunch it with gel- you take your dampish wettish hair and put gel in your palm. Rub it in your palms and take fistfuls of your hair and squeeze them. After that, dry it with the diffuser attachment on the blow dryer about 3" away.

what you can do is take the curling iron and set it to high for 3 minutes. when the curling iron is warming up I think you can get some one to do it for you and tell them everything i am going to tell you now.when the curling iron is ready you get a about a inch size piece of hair and put that in. then you slowly twist it up in your hair and when the curling iron is high enough for you , you hold it there for 15 seconds you do that for each hair you want, and if you want curls at the end of the hair and not at the top, you can try when you are holding the curling iron you gently pull the iron down your hair in till where you want it to be curly again.

I got that done in a saloon but even bigger just 2 nights ago. You've got to take a few bits of your hair and curl them individually, wrap one around the iron and hold for a few seconds then release and do the same with the rest. You'll get very small tight curls but you can hold the dryer away from your head and just move it around and move your hair around with your other hand. Also put your head down and aim the air at the back of your head then raise it up. You can use any product for volume or serum to protect your hair from the heat on wet hair. If you have str8 hair that wouldn't last, apply hair spray at the end when the waves or curls are big enough for you. Don't go with gel cuz it kills your hair and you would want natural looking healthy curlz and gel won't allow you to have that

-first, section ur hair nd add the cream(dime size.) per section

I think a deeper brown, even with some auburn tones would look nice. It'll make it look richer and healthier and even make your skin brighter and more balanced. Although, just seeing that picture, it's a little hard to tell. And also I don't know how long your hair is now. Layers are always a good thing depending on your hair texture and if you want more shape and movement. Your stylist can have a look at you and help you better!

yes, the bob cut is extremely popular. all you gotta do is print a few pics w/ this hairstyle such as victoria beckham, jenny mccarthy, etc...and show it to a hair stylist.

u shud relax or texturize it at a proffesional black people hair salon. That shud make it softer and easier to manage and do that style u want. You can also try 2 straighten it and c if dat works.

Well firstly, your totally right! The style is gorgeous and looks great.

I dont personally have african hair but I do know how to deal with it.

What you should do is, get some relaxer on your hair, a salon is best but you can buy it in a box at boots or similar. Only go with trusted brands though, you dont want to ruin your hair!

What this will do it, straighten your hair and make it very easy to manage.

Then all you need to do is get the cut at a good salon, it dosent have to be expensive but make sure its somewhere that you can trust, as sometimes, the bob (pob) can look uneven.

Talk to your stylist about protectors or other products that keep your hair smooth.

In all though, good luck! Why not even have a fringe cut in!

well im pretty close to your age. i would say get it cut to the bottom of your ear. my friend has a hair cut like that and now like every1 is cutting there hair that short. but you have to like wearing it down because you can't put it in a hair tie. or cut it like an inch from your shoulders and part it up front wear it in a tie and wear the rest down. you can do a lot with this one. usually up top in the front braid your hair you could pull it off. hope i help.

How about a cut called a shag? Its layered and you just put mousse on it and dry. Its a sort of untidy look. Its really cool and doesnt take a lot of time to do..

ok, u got a fringe , keep it ! u sld get it cut just onto of ur sholders, dead straight across, or gradually a little llonger at the front, in a subtle slant. this il make u a lil more grown up looking its v definate , u can get ur fringe into a styley quiff, and is v much in fashion at the moment !

This is a great way to get ideas for hair cuts!! But if you went to a stylist with the information you gave us he/she would be totally lost with your explanation of wants!! Like, "Funky" %26amp; "Not too Crazy" are almost like black %26amp; white!!!

I'm sure there are many youthful 'celebrity's' who you admire, or local aquaintances who have a style you like. In the latter case, ask them who did their hair!! If you see a style on the internet, or in a magazine cut it out and take to your fav stylist. Heck even a visit to your hair salon stylist for a 'consultation' is appropriate.

I see one contributor has given you links to dozens of nice styles but too me those were 'much older' (like late teens) and you have lots of time for that. In fact I suggest you check those out and even 'save' the photo to your computer for 'future' use (cut %26amp; color both) as variations to those can make those cuts 'modern' in a 'distant' 4 years!!

My suggestion is do what you feel is right for you (with your mother's concurrence) including highlights and/or lowlights!! As for cut, you can't go wrong with one of the many variations of the 'bob' cut and there are many versions that are super 'chic'. Remember in about 3 years you'll likely want 'long' hair for your grad prom (isn't that normal) so keep that in mind.
