Blonde hair with black bangs.?

I'm getting my hair cut soon. And i need a new idea for a haircut and hair style. I have blonde, pink and black in my hair right now. I'm thinking of dying my hair back to my natural hair color (blonde) and getting side bangs and dying the top, well more like the top layer, and my bangs black. Do you think it would look good if yes could you show me some pictures so i would have a better idea.?

I think maybe it would look alright, but there are SO MANY people with that hairstyle and so many other hairstyles you could try. Maybe dye the top layer of your hair blonde fading into red or pink maybe? Or dye your hair normal blonde with platinum blonde streaks or something. Just try to be unique, I know lots of people with the black bangs/platinum hair thing, it's so popular and "scene" right now.

Don't cut your hair! At least not too much...I always regret it every time I do it.

Get some layers put in it if it looks really lifeless, but I usually like to keep it below shoulder length, that way you can have SO much fun with different styles. You can go sleek-straight or get a great flip-do with a flat iron, or curl it and brush through for a nice wavy beach look, or curl it and put it up for a sexy/elegant look. There's so much you can do by learning to STYLE not CUT!!!

2) facial features

3) body proportion

4) neck line

5) hair type and texture

Ask your hairstylist how any hairstyle might affect your overall appearance.

Definitely layers for that sexy/sassy look. You can get that with long or short hair.... I can't say more without a description of what you look like.

I find adding a fringe makes the hair a bit different

I have one and I love it, just make sure the fringe is cut long so you can push it to the side of pin it back

Don't all kids do that? I did. Only mom was upset about it.

Anyway, take her to the hairdresser...they could layer it so that it grows out nicely in a month of so ...and not noticable. They'll know best. Relax. You'll have war stories to tell your friends.

I say you should let her go without a new haircut for a while until it grows out some. She needs to be laughed at. It will discourage her from ever doing it again. That's MUCH more effective than whipping her.

Take her to a kids hair salon. They see that stuff everyday, and they will be able to help you find something that will still make her look cute!! All the bad stuff happens when daddy is watching.. My 3 year old daughter took a blue sharpie marker to our white wall last weekend when daddy was babysitting..lol..

Please NO don't shave her head!! Let the patches catch up to her other hair. Hair grows fast - 3/4" to 1" per month. The patches will be 6" long by Spring! In the meantime, get some pretty headbands, clips, scarves and cute caps or berets.

I'd also get a hat. there's millions of adorable ones out there. also My little sister did the same thing and after being laughed by her big sisters she never did anything like it again. It'll grow back, dont worry it's just hair.

try curling your hair in loose curls, or take the the front part of your hair and pull it back cipping it to the top of your head and then put the rest of your hair in a loose pony tail, just look at my picture,like that

Well for your hair type, you could try any number of things.

First you could try a twisted pony tail:

To achieve this, you pull your hair into a ponytail in the middle of the back of your head, then twist it down to the nape of your neck. Tie it there, and then uses bobby pins to secure it.

Another one you could try is a half-up, half-down braided look.

This is just basically you pully hair from the crown of your hair, then securing it in the middle of the back of your head. Then, depending on the length of your hair, you could braid random peices of your hair. It can be a very hippy look if you have the right length hair.

The last one you could try is a messy bun, just like you said in your post.

What I basically do for this is I have a hair tie on my wrist, I pull my hair up into a ponytail, but I don't secure it. From there, I pull the end of the ponytail up to the base of it, tie it once around, the fold it again and tie. This looks best when you have wispy pieces falling out.

Good luck tomorrow! I know how hard it is to find a good hairstyle.

Try curling it with a curling iron, that is always cute, and I do the curly hair you tried, and i put it in a pony tail with some ribbons to match my outfit, that's cute too, messy buns are good when they are dry, and not wet because it damges your hair. Side pony tail you could try, I straighten mine, and it's a little bummpy on the back, and i put it up in a pony tail! There are like so many hair styles lol, I hope this helped, and just ask if you need more hair styles done. My aunt was a cosmetologist, so I know alot of them! Hope this helps!

one of my favorites, that's simple and cute, is to take your hair, and put it into a loose ponytail. then, split the hair going into the ponytail straight don the middle, making an opening just above the ponytail (elastic). then take your hair (the 'tail' of the ponytail), pull it straight up and then through that hole, fpulling from behind you to towards your back, and then down through. it makes a little twist/decoration thing, tho it might take a few tries to get it right. then you can leave your hair straight or curl it...:)

don't. pay the extra money to have it done professionally, because when you chop off your hair accidentally, you'll be paying a hairstylist to fix it in the long run.

at least have a friend cut it for you. it'll be extremely tricky to cut your hair at the top of your head. you might cut it too short, giving yourself a cowlick. or something unimmaginally hideous.

it wouldn't be too hard to have someone do it for your...

start at the top of your head... letting each layer be a bit longer than the next.

3) it's like a "razor or shaggy" cut at the top, nad long at the bottom.

I just recently had my hair cut from very long to very short. Along with that, I had my hair colored to a kind of burgondy/red. What I want to know is what kind of hair styles work well for hair like mine? I don't care if its crazy, smooth, straight, curly, anything goes for me.

What style should I get? I currently have thick hair that is really curly. It is right above my shoulder when curly and about an inch below when straight. I want a hair cut that I can wear curly, but easy to straighten by myself(I usually get it done in the salon).I would not mind side bangs, to keep it short.

Cut get it cut when it's straight so you know it looks good that way, get a layered bob with a little side bang. You can still easily straighten it at home and if you leave it curly it'll be sort of Marilyn Monroe-esque.

I love playing with my man's hair :) It's not too long not too short It's a mullet. as for any particular styles no not really as long as it looks clean and good I'm fine with it. I've never personally seen Kris with nothing but his mullet. I'm always running my fingers through his hair.

Because now, I want my long hair back:/ And I guess it's grown in length since then, but only some parts of my hair because of all the layers I got. Hair grows about a half an inch a month on average.

As far as products...try out a shampoo and conditioner called Nioxin. These products are meant to stimulate hair growth for thinning hair actually...but they also work for getting to grow out a little faster by deeply cleansing and stimulating the scalp. Incidentally...taking your vitamins, eating healthy and getting the appropriate amount of exercise can play a part as well as do scalp massage.

I love the look you have stay kind of natural wiht the make up like light browns with a little sheen but maybe a few hi-lites in the hair but i love the length and maybe once and a while throw some loose curls in it wiht a large curling iron add so much body to it. But good luck

well your hair is already well enough to start off with. i would suggest getting more side bangs and thinning the ends of your hair for that wispy look on the ends. and some slightly orange highlights on your blond hair would look nice. and your eyes already look nice, it doesnt need much work. some smokey eye with brown eyeshadow would look nice.

I think you are rockin it now! Love the cut! You could shorten the hair with some layers. Maybe some shorter layers that frame your face a bit more. Blonde streaks are bad for your hair but your color looks pretty natural so I would stick with that!

How would you do my hair/makeup?

I have to say I would maybe shorten the hair but the style is is awesome and the color is great. Maybe just a little blush on the cheeks and your good to go. You look great!!

For your eyes I would wear either black or brown liquid eyeliner on both the top and bottom of your eyes. (Not to much on the bottom though. Put very small eyeliner lines on the bottom and then smear it.) Also put on a purple eyeshadow to bring out your eyes. Don't wear mascara just curl your lashes. Some people think that your eyelashes look better if you blow dry them when you curl them, but it looks horrible. Your eyelashes go straight up and it looks like you drew on your eyelashes on the top of your eyelashes.

Put a little bronzer and very light pink blush. For your lips wear a light pink so that way your pearly white teeth stand out =]

Cute dress, I like the 1st style. I stood up in a wedding and didn't have the time or $175.00 for the "do" so I bought a hair piece from a beauty supply shop for $20.00 and It only took 10 mins out of the shower poneytail and hair clipped my piece in and my hair was done!!! All the other bridemaids cryed about waking up at 5:30am and spending all that money my hair looked better than everyones! One jelous brat turned and confronted me and asked how much my hair-do everyone looked at me when I said i did it myself, then she started asking questions on how I got it to look so good, I said " oh you like it, here you can borrow it...then I yanked out the hair piece and everyone screemed! We were dying laughing and she looked like the *** bragging about her $250.00 do!

I got so many compliments on my hair and the brides Mom even said my hair was the prettiest, so I yanked it out and scared the heck out of her too! It was fun, cheap, and painless!

to get your hair to be like the picture, you would have to get a wet set (wet hair put in place) with big rollers.

to blow dry your hair straight, you have to pull on the hair and make sure that the blowdryer is directing the air down the hair shaft. so you'd want to use a round brush that grips the hair, and blowdry from your head to the end of your hair.

This is how you start both techniques:

Section your hair into small sections (smaller for curls).

Then, start at the bottom and either flat iron or curl. When curling, slide the hair off the iron and pin it to your head with a pin curl clip or bobby pin. Do this all over your head and leave it until it cools. Then, take out the pins and style. You will have great curls guaranteed! Hope this helps!

I ain't afraid of scissors so no answers like that. I have always got it cut and trimmed. I have three aunts that are beauticians; so its not that. I have long hair; but thinking about cutting it about shoulder length into a style. I don't know why I am scared to cut it. I cut it less than two years ago; but now that its long again; I like it long; but know what to do. I won't go no shorter than shoulder length; cuz i don't want to look like a boy. What should I do? Its straight; almost to end of my back; and one length except at the end where i used to have it layers; i am thinking about atleast cutting the rest of that to make it one length or should i try the shoulder length style?

-Like you've kind of mentioned,you can do it in a messy pony tail in the middle of the back of your head using bobbdy pins(if you have any) to secure some of the hair be stil keep the messy look.

-Also,put the hair thats behind you ears in a pony tail then slip a head band behind your ears and let the pony tail done so the hair band is in the middle of all your hair.Pretty cool!

-Anotehr thing is just to flat iron or straighten the top layers of your hair and make lower layers sort of flipping outwards using your flat iron.Or,you can just flat iron the top layer.

Well , do you have bangs? whenever i wanna change up my hairstyle i pin my bangs up . but make them poofy , and since you can barley do a ponytail .. why don't you go out and get some clips and you can clip your hair up in a messy updo. Headbands still work . And applying some moouse or something can make it look shattered and different .

There aren't many options with such short hair but there are still some!

Jessica Simpson gave hers curls (pic included) and used a flower to change up the do a little.

Try low pigtails at the neckline; it's okay if all the hair doesn't stay in them, just use a sports elastic to keep the hair out of your face.

If you know how to braid hair well, braid a couple pieces in the front of your hair, about three sections, and let the rest hang down straight.

You can always part it to a side and put in a couple bobbypins to keep the hair in place.

Instead of pernament colored highlights, ask your mom if you can get some that wash out after ten showers and darken the under-layer of your hair. It's fashionable and very in. Plus this is one hair style that many starlets haven't taken to, and if many people in your school haven't either, you'll be a trendsetter (:o for like ten days!).

Without knowing your facial structure, it's hard to picture what would work. Although the really long hair, that goes past the shoulders, is quite odd. I think you should try the shaggy look.

it would be easier to get a friend to do it for you as it would be hard for you to cut your own hair, the angle is hard to work with and you wont be able to do the back. get your friend to cut it as they know how you like it and therefore can cut it with you guiding them! good luck!!!

Ha, I cut my own hair too, no-one does it better than me to be honest.

My advice would be to do it when it's damp, if your hair's really short get someone else to trim the back (like a mate or something) but have fun and make it as choppy as you like, you may aswell as it grows quickly. Don't be too precise or careful or you'll end up taking too much off.

Don't cut it yourself. Tell the hairdresser to not cut it too short and tell them to "stop" once it is short enough. They always want to "finish it off" and then make it too short.

You can experiment with a little trimming, if you are really careful and conservative about it. The biggest danger is cutting too much!

Be sure to trim your hair when it is dry. Too many people attempt to cut wet hair, as it seems simpler and straighter. However, hair shrinks a LOT when it dries.

It takes a lot to learn how to cut hair properly, I should know i done the training, you would never get it right! Even trained hairdressers can't cut their own hair. Why don't you try paying a bit more and going to a really good hairdressers and I'm sure you'll get a cut you like there. They tend to go on more courses etc and keep up to date with training.

my mom trims her bangs herself all the time because no one can get it right, but she would never try and cut the back herself. maybe if you tell them EXACTLY what you want, then theyll get it right. i have hair that grows fast in back, so i grows out to look like a mullet, and i have to tell the people that cut my hair down to the last detail what i want or ill walk away from it half bald.

I trimmed my bangs using this technique and I was very happy with it.

Take the section of hair you want to cut. While holding it straight up, twist it tight to the left and then trim the top. Then take the same section, twist it to the right and trim the strays. This gave me a nice layered effect. I've had so many people passionately warn me not to cut my own hair. But I've had the same experienced with EVERY salon I've gone too. They cut it too short, or use tons of styling product even when I've asked them not too. The last trip, she was distracted while talking to a friend that dropped in and she chopped way too much off. Then her assistant came rushing over with the broom to get rid of the evidence! She then proceeded to blow dry my hair, after it was already dry, and pulled at it with a round brush. By the time I got home, my hair was unrecognizable as my own and fried from the blow drier. I think if you are careful and know what you want, cutting ones own hair is a fine thing to do! Good luck!

well i trimmed my own hair and it came out fine.

1)don't wet your hair

2)style your hair the way you usually do or the way you want it to look (after its trimmed)

3)grab pieces of your hair between your fingers and just trim it by cutting it the way your hair grow (vertically)it makes it spikier and you wont have a bigger chance of cutting off too much

most people cut it horizontally and cut off too much and it comes out kinda choppy

Each Wal-Mart has different salons, they are not all the same. However, the Wal-mart I go to charges $12.95 for an adult cut, and it includes a wash and dry. IT doesn't matter how long or short your hair is, or how long or short you want it cut. I have never really gotten a bad haircut, and since I refuse to spend a ton of money every 6 weeks, this works best for me!

My suggestion would be to call your local salon in your local Wal-Mart. Also, remember, that most of these places are 1st come 1st serve, and don't take appointments, so make sure you have time to wait for them, especially during the holidays when they are busy.

I have medium-thick curly hair. I found that mouss and all that really makes it crunch and curly. What I do now is simply drench it in leave-in conditionner spray and it makes the curls SUPER nice, good smelling, and soft.

As for you wanting a mowhawk - I'd suggest blow drying your hair upside down, angling the drying so your hair comes toward the middle. Try using Got 2 Be Spiked - that stuff is crazy thick and would most likely do the trick. Good luck man. Curly hair is really tough to work with.

In my opinion, don't get it cut (make your side bangs a little bit fringy :))

Just dye it.

But dye it with colours you know you look good in and colours that will make you not look 20.

But remember to condition really deeply before you get it dyed.

Emo/scene hair normally consists of layers and side bangs.

The styling is of wax,teasing,hairspray and straightening.

So,don't freak if the stylist doesn't do what you completely want.(you can always change it with product)

Don`t go too overboard with product,it will look and smell disgusting.

But fringe is one of the greatest things for every emo/scene hair.

Try getting layers and getting the whole top layer dyed and so on.

And chunks of colour looks pretty cool but don`t go crazy on it.

Get your front hair dyed 2 different colours one on top of the other.It looks awesome.

I have dark brown hair, almost black, on light olive/golden skin that is really wavy with a couple of curls.

Obviously scene cuts look best straightened, but it's way too much of a headache to straighten it daily. So, do you think that these scene cuts will look good or at least okay with my natural hair?

Hair help - poofy/bowl cut?

so I am a guy and my hair is getting weird. whenever i wash my hair it gets really poofy as it dries. I don't blow dry it i just shake a towel on it and let it dry over time. So this "poofyness" makes the hair like 2x the size of my head and looks like a serious bowl cut - not good. To top it off, the last haircut i got the person did the ears wrong in that one was fine with partial hair over them but the other is completely covered with hair. My hair goes down to about the eyebrows in front, just over the ears, and is kinda short in the back but frizzes out - also bad. Please help - should i get a haircut (if so what length and style?), new shampoo brand? (I use Crew)

Go short. Maybe not crew-cut short, but short. You don't want to be messing with blowdryers and gel, which is what you need to do for the cut you have (and the one posted above). You ended up with a cut where the upkeep is above your means. So, cut down on the upkeep by going with a shorter style, one that you just need to run your fingers through your hair and go (maybe with a bit of gel).

welll, you could get some ghd shampoo and conditioner , it gets rid of dandruff as well btw if you want your hair to have a really sleek finish use ghd mini straightners - it looks really nice and is never frizzy ,have a aaron samuals style

well i know what its like to have the beautiful long hair everyone loves, but is too long to do anything with it most of the time. [my hair is butt length too =)] Anyways you can always try a nice low bun, with cute side clips for formal occasions. For everyday i suggest either a side pony tail or maybe French braided pigtails. Not only will the braid keep your hair neat but if you do it after you wash your hair, your hair will be wavy the next day after you take them out. I agree, try new things with your clothes and makeup to get your attention off your hair. also try clips and headbands. I know my friend got a really cute haircut that was short but she hated it because she thought she looked like a boy (everyone else thought she looked cute), once she put clips and stuff in it she felt a lot more girly and liked it better.

as for getting it to grow out, there isn't too much you can do. but here are some tips

strong-

make sure it stays healthy and strong to it can grow long, I suggest doing olive oil treatments. once a month heat up olive oil in the microwave until its hot but not too hot to touch. rub it into the ends and work up the rest of hair avoiding scalp. if you don't have oily hair you can add rosemary before you microwave it and massage into your scalp as well, this will help get the blood flowing to your scalp which will help keep hair growing.

keep your scalp healthy-

a healthy scalp with good circulation keep your hair growing at your maximum speed. give yourself a min scalp massage everyday. try energizing shampoos which help blood flow.

prevent build up-

once a week use a cleansing shampoo to remove build up from scalp which can slow down hair growth.

I have the same hair as you. Try getting long side bangs. The longer your hair is, the longer you want ur side bangs. To style, all you need is a blow dryer and a flat brush comb.

Blow dry your hair to fluff it and then then brush your hair over. It will give ur hair more volume.

My hair is up to about my mid-back and its really thick and frizzy/curly. i like it long but it's so much to deal with. Really bad hair cut?

I just got a really bad hair cut. I told the lady i wanted bangs just above my eyebrows. and a little bit shorter layers. Well she cut my hair to my shoulders and my first layer starts above my bangs. I don't know what to do with it. I mean I pull half of it back and style it. but that gets old and the layers are so short i have to use like 20 bobby pins to keep it up. do you have any suggestions on what to do with a bad hair cut?

I had the same problem when I was young. I wanted new wave (that's what we called it back then) hair to go with my clothes, but I didn't want to cut all my long hair off.

Get a very blunt-one length, no layers-haircut and die it purple. Indigo purple, not lavender or violet. Or, die it blue if you have light complexion/blonde hair. If your hair is around shoulder length or shorter, get bangs. If your hair is long, don't get bangs.

This hairstyle will accomodate all your punk, grunge, goth, etc outfits. Think 5th element but purple and longer. Or Aeon flux (but longer), if you can find a hairstylist skilled enough to cut the front angles.

i guess young people these days are going for the emo hair look. It's just a bunch of long layers, and point cuts at the bottom. Some go to the extreme and comb their hair forward, so they have long shaggy bangs.

No, a buzz cut would not be your most complimentary style. At your height and weight you need a little fullness around your face. Talk to your stylist about a flattering cut that will create a fuller, softer look to your face.

I think it all depends on your 'style'. Buzz cuts don't suit all people and neither does 3 inch long hair. My brother just had his 3 inch hair cut off and it's made him look younger - which isn't a good thing. It just all depends on your face and style. Ask your friends opinion :)

whatever you want. Im 16 5'11'' and i have a buzz cut. It is what i like, because it is very low maintenance i dont have to worry about combing it in the morning. The way i see it is that if people dont like it that is there problem. I like it so i am sticking with it. I use a #1 guard on a shaver. So it pretty much is what you like. Just remember if you dont like it, it WILL GROW BACK.

The only way to grow out layers is to get your hair cut . You need to cut more off of you length than in your layers each time, so that the two meet. If you don't want to take a lot off each time, just take 1/2 inch off your length, and 1/4 inch off of your layers every 6 weeks. Many think to just not cut the layers at all. Your layers will become split and will look horrible and cosequently won't grow out as the hair is splitting and breaking up the hair shaft. I usually use the above method, and texturize the layers that are growing out to give them a softer look as they grow out. I hope this helps. I am an experience NYC hairstylist, and this is the only way to get rid of layers.

I've currently got medium length hair ( drops down to my collar bone ) The kind of style i'm now going for is Long strips of hair underneath and choppy on top, but usually my hair stylist cant understand what i'm trying to explain to her what i want. plus you're going to need extensions for something like this. if you would want that look you could get extensions that are a different color then your natural hair.

you could always get it just a tad bit shorter, maybe collarbone length, and add some layers. as for the bangs, id suggest curtain bangs! there so awesome looking, and there scene. there like..layered side bangs basically, and look really cute parted to either the left or right [cute in the middle too, i guess.] you might wanna straighten it a bit, but that only takes a few minutes, and even if it gets winded, itll have a little wave and be cute =]
