I think the hair color you have now, is the best color you could get a. with your skin color, and b. with your dark features. the hair cut i could see looking really good on you, is really just long layers, sortof like you have, but like 2in below your shoulder.

I think your hair looks great how it is, but I'd suggest you darken it up a bit and perhaps add a little red highlight to it. This will not only make you stand out (in a good way) but will also accent your facial tones.

Stick with a dark color, if you got a bright color you would stuff up your good looks. I always find a woman with dark hair is more eye catching and pleasing on the eyes. ;-)
