Just got a hair cut and its horrible?

just got a hair cut, but when it dries, it looks like i have a mulett(sp) and i hate it. she cut my bangs very very short and the top layers are also very short. is there any way that i can style it without it looking funky. i have been wearing a head band, but the back half of my hair on top gets really poofy and i hate it. HELP

UGH... I am sorry! Towel dry your hair, comb it down flat and wear something like a towel on the top of your head to try to keep the poofy parts flat till it is as dry as you can get it. Even if you use a flat iron you may still get more of a stand up effect than you want, because of its shortness. A flat brush will come in handy as it grows out.

if you have a straightener use it or go out and buy one.. that is the best way.. use a product that prtects yor hair when you use a straightener.. i have the same problem with poofy hair..

You can go complain to the person that cut your hair and get your money back. Other than that, you have to wait until it grows out.

Straighten or curl it, or wear a whole new style of clothes to distract it from your hair. Wear hairbands or pretty bobbles to make your hair look nice :)

Go back to the salon and explain to her that this isn't what you wanted. They will either have some one else fix it to some extent or refund your money! If it is a owned by the the woman who did your hair just explain to her the situation and she should fix it for you at no charge!

I think you're best bet is to get the longer pieces in the back cut shorter. You don't want to have too many layers. If you're not happy with the cut, most salons will make fixes generally within a week of the original cut for little or no charge.

Oh I hate when hairdressers dont know squat about what they are doing. It happened to me a few months ago. I would have to see a picture of it to tell you what to do but another option is to buy a clip on ponytail that always works. I don't know where you live but I know they sell cheap ones at Kmart and other deptartment stores or research online to find a pricier one that will last longer. I think Jessica Simpson has a line out. Good luck!

hard 2 help without a pic. Hard 2 help without actually "fixing" it myself. U have some choices thou:

1.) go back 2 the salan %26amp; explain your hang-up with your new hair. THey can either re-cut it or help u learn how 2 style it in a way that u can manage.

2.) shave it all off

3.) wear a hat or skullie

4.) try 2 style it the best u can or have a friend try

I just got my hair done Tuesday %26amp; the girl didn't know whut she was doing. When it dried, it look like a butcher cut my hair in the middle of the night. I ended up coming back the next day %26amp; a more experience lady re-cut/shaped my hair %26amp; now now I just luv it!

Cut you hair shorter and wear your bangs to the side . Cut your hair like 2 inches below your longest layer . Or get extensions . If you decide to cut your hair shorter go to a DIFFERENT hair stylist .
